DR4™ is a solid form broad-spectrum biocide containing the active ingredient tetrakis (hydroxymethyl) phosphonium sulphate (THPS) and specific biopolymers to disrupt biofilms.THPS is designed to inhibit the growth of algae, bacteria, yeasts, and fungi in process watersused in low temperature heating systems such as heat pumps and underfloor heatingsystems.
DR4™ is especially effective against Pseudomonads including NRB & SRB specieswhich are particularly troublesome in low temperature heating systems.
